The Mothering Portrait /

The original painting of me and my two precious girls is dear to my heart. It encapsulates my love for them in a beautiful and simple way. I kept our bodies faceless to simplify the painting as well as draw the focus to the overall feel of embodied love as opposed to a focus on a portrait. I would love to create a similar portrait of you and your children to have as a keepsake for your family.

Each portrait can be customized with specific florals as well as a preferred floral color palette. The overall composition of children with their mother will remain the same as well as the looser, more flowing style of painting with charcoal pencil. Keep in mind, I can create a painting of you and your children at any age. If your children are grown and you’d like to capture a memory of when they were small, I’d love to capture that time of your mothering journey. The same is true for painting a portrait with your adult children - whatever phase you’d like to commemorate, we can make it happen.
